Du var jo kjempeflink :D Haha, that must have been fun. Once, working as a waiter, I spilled hot mushroom soup over a man who was wearing what looked like his finest suit! That made me feel like a king among waiters. No tip for me..

Ja, kan det! :D Er ikke like flink som jeg var... glemmer fort ordene som jeg ikke bruker i hverdagen, men men...

And no, we most definitely don't want crying vampires in rivers of roses. I was away this weekend visiting my boyfriend's mum and got to do a little stint of work in her shop/tea room that she owns. My first taste of employment since last summer! :thumbsdown: And I managed to spill the filter coffee powder everywhere whilst serving my first customers SO I have newfound respect for those working in shops! :P Tough job!

I am currently working in a toy store. Sounds awesome, but when you realize that you cannot just rip open every star wars figure and play your sittinīmuscle off every day, it is actually very boring. And I have had just about enough of working at shops.. The boredom is making my creative-cells bleed. And that will just lead me to start drawing crying vampires in a river of roses.. We donīt want that...

WOW. I have actually lived in Oslo. Spent 4 years there from when I was 11 - 15. Small world! :P And yes.. this will definitely beat a desk job. I have worked in loads of offices since I left school and it made me realise there is no way I want to live in those conditions! I'd much rather love my job and make pretty pictures! Hehehe.

So cool! Then you are probably just as excited as I am to get started! Making art for a living.. It has to beat the crap out of office work :D We'll be poor, but happy ^^
I will be studying in Oslo, Norway at NKF (Norwegian Creative College)
It is more the other way around for me. Since alot of the education is digital, I have to embrace digital everything :P

I'm glad you found your flow! :D I'm going to be studying at the Edinburgh College of Art. Can't wait. Their course looked so in depth and very traditional, they don't teach 3d animation at all so it will be nice, lots of model making and drawing and hands-on work which will make a nice change to my addiction to digital everything! :D Where are you going to study? Definitely want to see what work you do in an illustration class as well :)

Great tips and tricks! You are my new hero! ;P I have gotten used to having the tablet in my lap, and for some reason, sitting on the floor. Things just flow better down there, haha. But thanks alot for the tips! Best of luck with the animation! Looking forward to see more of your work. Where are you studying?
